She obtained her BS degree in Psychology/Special Education from Texas A&M University, formerly East Texas State University and a Chi Omega Alumni. She is a licensed agent for Property/Casualty, Bonds, & Life and Health. She currently holds the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation and is a Certified Insurance Counselor.
